1. Arrival at Badr — 17 Ramadan 2 AH
The Prophet ﷺ marched with 313 Companions — 82 Muhajirun and 170 Ansar — to intercept a Qurashi caravan. When Quraysh learned of his march, they sent a thousand fully-armed warriors from Makkah. al-Hubab ibn al-Mundhir proposed they camp at the nearest well and disable the others — the Prophet ﷺ adopted his counsel.
