The Prophet ﷺ returned to his Lord in ʿĀʾisha's ﭺ chamber and was buried where he passed. The Companions gathered at Saqīfat Banu Sāʿida and pledged to Abu Bakr al-Ṣiddīq ﭬ as caliph.
