A single prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in any other — except al-Masjid al-Haram.
What lies between my house and my pulpit — the blessed Rawdah — is a garden from the gardens of Paradise.
Prophetic ﷺ practices to revive here — a simple checklist for when you're standing in the place itself.
Say: "In the name of Allah, peace upon the Messenger of Allah, O Allah open for me the gates of Your mercy." On leaving: "O Allah, I ask of Your bounty" (Muslim).
The Rawdah lies between the Prophet's house ﷺ and his pulpit. He ﷺ said: "What lies between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise" (Bukhari & Muslim). Seize two rakʿahs there if you can.
After prayer, walk to the blessed chamber with serenity and say: 'Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah.' Then greet Abu Bakr, then ʿUmar ﭬ.
🎒 What to bring
A gentle reminder — Islamic adab at these places.
Do not touch or kiss the grille of the blessed chamber. The Sunnah is to greet and move on with composure.
No photos inside the blessed chamber or the Rawdah. Put your phone away; focus your heart.
Lower your voice. The Companions feared raising it between the Prophet's ﷺ chamber and his pulpit.
Respect the queue for the Rawdah. Do not push or skip ahead.
Soon you'll be able to share your photos from The Prophet's Mosque so future visitors can see them — every photo reviewed by scholars before publication (to keep the space respectful).
