Significance

Bir Ghars stood among the orchards of al-ʿAwālī that the Prophet ﷺ used to visit. It neighbours land of Banū al-Najjār — his father ʿAbd Allāh's maternal relatives. The sources mention the Prophet ﷺ shading himself here and praying for its blessing.
