When the pursuers stood at the cave's mouth, Abu Bakr said to the Prophet ﷺ: "If any of them looked down at his feet, he would see us." The Prophet ﷺ replied: "What do you think of two, O Abu Bakr, with Allah as their third?"
Prophetic ﷺ practices to revive here — a simple checklist for when you're standing in the place itself.
There is no Prophetic instruction to climb to the cave as worship. Reflecting from below is enough — meditate on the Hijra and on al-Siddiq's steadfastness.
A gentle reminder — Islamic adab at these places.
The climb is hard and is not a prescribed act of worship. There is no Prophetic instruction to visit.
If you choose to reflect, do so from below — recall the Hijra and al-Siddiq's steadfastness.
Soon you'll be able to share your photos from Cave of Thawr so future visitors can see them — every photo reviewed by scholars before publication (to keep the space respectful).
3 short questions to deepen what you've learned — no scores, just growing your Sira knowledge.
