The Site of the Treaty

Significance

The site where the Treaty of Hudaybiyya was drafted between the Prophet ﷺ and Suhayl ibn ʿAmr representing Quraysh. Its terms appeared harsh on the Muslims, yet Allah called it "a manifest victory" — because it opened the door of daʿwa completely: in its two years more entered Islam than in the twenty preceding.
