When visiting the martyrs of Uhud, the Prophet ﷺ said: "I bear witness for these." That is, a witness that they died for the sake of Allah.
Prophetic ﷺ practices to revive here — a simple checklist for when you're standing in the place itself.
Greet them and supplicate for mercy — foremost Hamza, master of the martyrs, ʿAbd Allah ibn Jahsh, and Mus'ab ibn ʿUmair ﭬ.
Read from {And [recall, O Muhammad ﷺ], when you set out from your family to give the believers their positions for battle} — these verses were revealed about Uhud.
A gentle reminder — Islamic adab at these places.
Do not touch the graves or walls.
No photography inside the cemetery.
Greet the martyrs and supplicate for them. Do not direct supplication TO them rather than to Allah.
