﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ﴾«أَوَّلُ جُمُعَةٍ جُمِعَتْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، بَعْدَ جُمُعَةٍ فِي مَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ.»The first Friday prayer the Prophet ﷺ established in Madinah was among Banu Salim ibn ʿAwf in the valley of Ranuna. He led the prayer and delivered the sermon — at the site of today's Masjid al-Jumuʿah.
