The Prophetic Eid Prayer Ground

Significance
The prayer ground the Prophet ﷺ went out to for the two ʿĪd prayers (al-Fiṭr and al-Aḍḥā) and the rain prayer. It was his ﷺ guidance to walk out to the muṣallā on ʿĪd and return by a different route. The present mosque was built on the same spot in later centuries.
The recommended practice
It is Sunna to go out to the muṣallā for ʿĪd where possible, and to take a different route going and returning.
