The Rain Prayer

Significance

The Prophet ﷺ would come out to this muṣallā when the people were struck by drought, to seek rain from Allah. He would pray two units with them, then turn his cloak and raise his hands supplicating. Among his ﷺ words: "O Allah, water us with a rain that relieves, pleasant, wholesome, generous, all-covering, wide-pouring, universal."
