Significance
When the Prophet ﷺ set out for Badr he passed by the place of al-Suqyā, alighted, made wuḍūʾ, and prayed for the people of Madīna to be blessed. Anas ibn Mālik ﭬ narrated from the Prophet ﷺ: "O Allah, Ibrāhīm was Your servant and Your intimate friend; he prayed for the people of Makka. I am Muḥammad Your servant and Your Messenger; I ask You for the people of Madīna the like of what he asked for the people of Makka, and its like again." This is among the greatest supplications for Madīna.
