The Muslim Base on the Day of al-Aḥzāb

Significance

The Prophet ﷺ took the foot of Mount Salʿ as the base for the Muslim army on the day of al-Aḥzāb, pitched his tent there, and placed the mountain behind the Muslims' backs with the trench in front of them. From this position he oversaw the trench line and directed the battle. Mount Salʿ stands in central Madīna today, still bearing witness to those days.
