The Ravine — Where He ﷺ Was Wounded

Significance

The mountain ravine the Prophet ﷺ withdrew to after the battle turned. He was wounded there — his head cut, a front tooth broken, and two rings of his helmet embedded in his cheek. He sat there a day and a night as the Companions gathered around him.
