Stage 1 of 5

1. March to Khaybar — Muharram 7 AH

After Hudaybiyya, with the 1,400 who pledged under the tree, the Prophet ﷺ marched to Khaybar — 150 km north of Madinah. Khaybar was a fortified Jewish centre of eight strongholds across three regions: al-Naṭāh, al-Shaqq, and al-Katibah. The Prophet ﷺ set out by night, saying: "When we descend on a people's field, evil is the morning of those who were warned."

««إِنَّا إِذَا نَزَلْنَا بِسَاحَةِ قَوْمٍ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ»»
