Grave of Ibrāhīm son of the Prophet ﷺ

Significance

The Prophet's ﷺ son by Māriya al-Qibṭiyya. He passed in infancy in Madinah. The Prophet ﷺ wept and said: 'The eye tears and the heart grieves, but we say only what pleases our Lord — and truly, O Ibrāhīm, we are grieved by your parting.' The sun eclipsed on the day of his death and the Prophet ﷺ delivered a khuṭba on it.
