Significance

Third of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, Dhū al-Nūrayn (the One of Two Lights), compiler of the Qur'an. Buried ﭬ in a spot once known as Ḥashsh Kawkab, later incorporated into al-Baqīʿ. Among the most reliably identified Companion grave-sites overall.
